CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Offices in Chesapeake will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The following will be closing at noon Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will remain closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23:
- City offices
- Public libraries – will be open Saturday, Nov. 24. Book drops will be open at all times.
- Community Centers – will be open Saturday, Nov. 24
No garbage or recycling will be collected on Thursday, Nov. 22. Any scheduled pickups for Thursday will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 24. Pickups scheduled for Friday will be collected as normal.
