VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A shooting in Virginia Beach late Saturday night left one man dead.
Police were called to the 600 block of Winding Way around 11:15 p.m. for reports of shots fired in the area.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
The victim has been identified as Rene Rivera, 36, of Virginia Beach.
Police are asking for anyone with information to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. There is no suspect information available at this time.
