SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 17-year-old runaway.
According to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk, Christian Smith was placed by Chesapeake Family Services foster care in Suffolk. CFS was going to remove him from the Suffolk home he was living in when Smith ran away, according to Klink.
Klink says police do not think Smith is in danger, but they have checked all previous addresses to no avail.
Smith has sent messages to his foster mother saying he is okay.
Smith is described as a black male, 5'9" and weighing 125 pounds.
