SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - In light of a bomb threat found written in a bathroom stall, police officers and firefighters will be on hand at Suffolk's Kings Fork High School Friday.
According to a letter sent home to parents, the threat stated, 'KF will be blown up on April 26.' The writing was found inside of a women's restroom bathroom stall, which led to social media chatter Wednesday morning.
Earlier this week, a staff member found a written bomb threat inside of a bathroom stall at Lakeland High School.
Thursday, a threat was found written on a boy's bathroom stall at King's Fork Middle School just before dismissal. Police were called to the school to ensure student safety.

It was reported to administration this morning that tweets were being posted about a "shoot out" at King's Fork High School on April 26, 2013. We conducted a lengthy investigation and could not find any evidence on any Twitter account of this nature.
Around 11:30 a.m. it was reported that a message was written on a bathroom stall in a girl's restroom that "KF will be blown up on April 26." Police and fire investigators were called to assist in the investigation. As the investigation continues, please know that the culprit will face criminal charges when found.
I want to assure you that your child's safety is our priority here at King's Fork High School. We have secured extra Suffolk City Fire and Police officers for April 26, 2013.
