NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A woman shot in Norfolk Wednesday morning told police she didn't know the gunman.
Police were called to the 2400 block of Hale Street at 4 a.m. and discovered a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to be treated for her non-life threatening injuries.
According to police spokeswoman Karen Parker-Chesson, the victim told police she was shot by an unknown black man with dread locks. He was driving a gray-colored SUV.
Police did not release information on a possible motive.
