NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A woman's condition has improved after she was hit by a car Saturday. It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Tidewater Drive near Biltmore Road, according to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department.
Amos said the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, police said the woman’s condition had improved. Amos said she is now in stable condition.
According to police, the driver of the car remained on the scene after hitting the woman.
No charges have been filed at this point, and the accident is still under investigation.
