CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police arrested four people after executing a search warrant for a meth lab Friday morning.
Police responded to a residence in the 4500 block of Military Highway near the intersection of Schaefer Avenue for a possible meth lab, according to police spokeswoman Kelly O'Sullivan. Once inside, officers found chemicals and equipment used in making meth and took two males and one female into custody.
After officers investigated the area further, they found a fourth person -- a woman -- inside a vehicle parked at the residence and arrested her as well.
The suspect who lived in the residence was Randi Stoll, 29, who was charged with two counts of manufacture methamphetamine, possession of synthetic narcotics and possession of dangerous drugs. Stoll was also wanted for failure to appear in court.
The other three suspects arrested were Gary Coats, 52, Donna MIller, 50, and Waiters Briley, 33. Coats was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and was also wanted for a previous probation violation. Miller was charged with possession of heroin and possession of cocaine, and Briley was arrested because she was already wanted in Virginia Beach for revocation of a suspended sentence.
This was the second meth lab discovered in South Hampton Roads Friday. Virginia Beach Police officers were called to the 1300 block of Old Clubhouse Road around 3:30 a.m. after a neighbor reported suspicious activity.
