CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - The Western Branch section of Chesapeake experienced a loss of water pressure Friday afternoon.
WAVY News 10 started receiving calls, emails and social media posts from residents around 2:30 p.m.
The City of Chesapeake posted the following statement on its Facebook page at 2:45 p.m.:
Loss of Water Pressure in Western Branch Area:
Public Utilities is aware of the situation, and normal pressure should be restored at approximately 3:45 p.m.
The City did not say what caused the issue.
