CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Weather may have played a role in the crash that killed a 20-year-old man in Chesapeake Friday morning.
Police say Paxson Miller lost control of his truck while taking a curve on Blueridge Road. He hit a tree and the car caught fire.
Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said the crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jonas Miller, the victim's grandfather, told WAVY.com, " He was a good kid, a very accomplished musician. He loved to play guitar, and he was very good at it."
Miller graduated from Hickory High School in 2011. His Grandfather said Miller was on his way to work at a local plumbing company when he died.
