YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - Deputies have arrested three men in connection to two burglaries in the Tabb area of York County.
Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office said deputies patrolling neighborhoods in the area spotted a suspicious vehicle around 11 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle matched the description of a suspect vehicle seen leaving the scene of a burglary just days before.
A male suspect was seen getting into the vehicle and drove off. Ivey said deputies stopped the vehicle and determined the three suspects inside were involved in the burglaries.
Jaquanta T. Dewberry, 20, of Hampton, Jatavus M. Dewberry, 18, of Hampton and Moses D. Deese, 18, of Newport News were all charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit larceny and one count of possession of marijuana.
Deese was also issued a summons for suspended object in windshield.
The investigation continues.
