Other Jobs you hold/have held that would be good for a potential FOF: I am a comedian who brings comedy to everyday situations and personal experiences without profanity or vulgarity. I volunteer at many community events. I have hosted community events. Also my first job was at Busch Gardens in the games department on the “Guess your age or weight” game that required the talent of entertainment and persuasion.

Favorite HR hangout and where? As loud as I am and as much as I enjoy masses of people, I love to go to the Noland Trail in Newport News. It is an amazing tranquil nature trail with a back drop of the James River and a soundtrack of ducklings squawking at one another followed by the rustling of the squirrels hopping from trees. It is such a great place to appreciate God.

Best Brush with Greatness Story: Picture it, the year was 1990, and our country was at war: Operation Desert Storm! The troops were gone longer than anticipated and Valentine’s Day was approaching. One of the local news stations sponsored a post card drawing competition to encourage the troops. Well there I was a small humble fourth grader with the desire to help out my country! My post card of a troop standing on a grassy mound with hearts floating in the air, won 2nd place city wide! My elementary School applauded me for entire week, I was even featured on television at the live ceremony at Lynnhaven Mall! However the greatest part of the story happened about two months later when a soldier from New Jersey sent me a post card to my elementary school, Plaza Elementary, telling me how his daughter had sent him my postcard and she was my age and he expressed how proud of me he was and declared that he would salute me if he ever met me! That was my best brush with greatness!
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? I would tithe(give 10%) to my church, financially support Alzheimer’s research, secure all of my children’s career/college funds, build my dream house(something within $450,000) , buy my husband his dream car; 1999-2007 Chevy Tahoe and save whatever is left over.
Something People would be surprised to know about you: I loved “Jerry Springer Movie”
Why do you think you should be the next Face of FOX43? I know I should be the next Face of FOX43 because I have been blessed with the gift to relate to all types of people, no matter age, race, sexual preference or religion. I am a great listener. I am able to discern the needs of the audience in which I serve. I am very personable, I have standards, and I have lived all over the FOX 43 market. I also know that I should be the next FACE because it is my desire to use all of my God given talents, abilities and gifts to inspire, encourage, and influence all that I come in contact with; hoping that at least one thing I say or do can make someone have a better day and motivate them to be their best.
