NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk Botanical Garden kicked off its holiday season Saturday night with the Million Bulb Walk.
There are new additions this year, such as synchronized dancing trees and bliss lights, which send out thousands of magical lights for a starry night experience.
“You may see some traditional light displays, they may be in different places,” Kelly Welsh with Norfolk Botanical Garden told WAVY.com. “They may add more lights, different characters, or something like that, so certainly, if you come every year, you’ll see something new for sure.”
The Million Bulb Walk, sponsored by Dollar Tree, WAVY News 10 and FOX 43, runs through Wednesday night, then the Dominion Garden of Lights starts, where visitors drive through the holiday lights.
Guests may walk through the lights on these dates:
November 17-21, 2012 and January 1-6, 2013
5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
$10 per person ($8 per member), 2 and under free
