Thanksgiving closings for Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Norfolk will close several city offices.

The following will close at noon Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will remain closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23:

Commissioner of the Revenue and City Treasurer’s Office
Circuit Court
General District Court
Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court

All city public libraries will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will remain closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.

All recreation centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.

All garbage and recycling collections scheduled for Thursday will take place Saturday, Nov. 24. Collections scheduled for Friday will continue as normal.
