VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Roads-based VA Task Force 2, currently stationed in New Jersey to assist with Hurricane Sandy cleanup efforts will be able to vote in Tuesday's election.

According to Tim Riley with the Virginia Beach Fire Department, the 90 service members, all firefighters from around the Hampton Roads area, will be able to vote thanks to a courier traveling to New jersey with sealed envelopes for ballots.

Riley says officials had to contact 17 different voter registry offices from the Eastern Shore to Orange County  to make the voting happen.
