911 call in missing mom case

Caller implicates brother

ASHLAND, OH (WAVY) - Deputies in Dare County, North Carolina are looking for an Ohio woman who hasn’t been seen since vacationing with her boyfriend and her two children in the Outer Banks the first week of July.

Investigators in Ohio and North Carolina are actively searching for Lynn Jackenheimer , 33.

Her boyfriend's brother called 911 in Ohio and implicated his brother in her disappearance. Jake Summerfield told police dispatchers he briefly saw his brother Nate Summerfield Sunday. WAVY.com obtained the complete 911 call. On it, Jake told the dispatcher, "My brother was in North Carolina with his ex-girlfriend and he came back and he said he strangled her. He dropped his kid off and left."

Jake said his brother took off in a 2009 gray Honda Civic with license plate FMV7540.

Anyone with information on Jackenheimer's disappearance should call the Dare County Sheriff's Office at 252-475-5980 or call 911.
