Youth important to Tomlin

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Friday  was for the younger kids, today was for the high schoolers.  As a former Super Bowl winning coach, Tomlin has clout.  Several NFL players on hand lending their expertise to the kids.  Saturday, there were a couple of lightning delays, so the troops had to head inside.  That's where Tomlin fielded questions and tried to relay the message that there's more to football than on the field play.

Now we mentioned that Tomlin has clout. How's this for influence. Free agent, receiver, Plaxico Burress from Virginia Beach flew up from his home in South Florida just to be a part of things today.  Back in the mid 90's, Plex was a high school kid at Green Run, now he's on the other side of things and he's eager to give back.

We asked Plex who he's going to sign with? He said, "You guys will probably know before me."
