Virginia Beach gets taste of Olympics

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Wavy.com) - The U-S Olympics Field hockey team finished their final exhibition game with Argentina this afternoon. The game finished in a 2-2 draw. The teams played for times and finished 1-1-2. Argentina is ranked second in the world.
Saturday's game was televised live on NBCSports Network, a first for the sports besides during the Olympics.
"It was a great send off and we had a great crowd. I think we are playing a 15,000 seat stadium in London, so this gave us a good taste of what to expect," said Caroline Nichols who played at Old Dominion University.
