NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - In front of a sellout crowd Saturday, the Admirals once again showed the AHL and Hampton Roads why they really are the best team in the league.  The Admirals, like so many other games all season, were in control.  The team is playing with confidence, as they should be, considering they've been the best team in the league the entire second half of the season.

"The guys when they get the lead, they smell it, they're like a pack of wolves, when they feel they can win it they feel they going to go after it, so that streak has really helped us out in that department," said head coach Jon Cooper."

"We're in playoff mode right now, we're doing every little bit that it takes to win, everything is on the line and as long as these wins keep coming we really don't care if it's better then a 28 win streak or not," said goaltender Dustin Tokarski.

The Admirals haven't lost two games in a row, since just before that win streak started.
