BOSTON (AP) - The Florida Panthers have traded Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell to the Boston Bruins for defenseman Dennis Wideman and a pair of draft picks.
In the deal announced Tuesday, the Panthers are getting the No. 15 pick in this week's draft along with a third-round selection in next year's draft.
The 25-year-old Horton had 20 goals and 37 assists in 65 games last season. In a conference call with reporters, Panthers general manager Dale Tallon said Horton expressed interest in a trade.
Campbell, 26, played in 60 games last season, posting two goals and 15 assists.
