HAMPTON, Va. (wavy) - The Late Models return to Langley Speedway in Hampton this Saturday.
With two wins and five runner-up finishes, two-time track champion Greg Edwards leads the points standings.
But don't count out Casey Wyatt, he's second in the standings behind Edwards, 21 points back. Wyatt has racing in his blood. He started racing go-karts when he was eight.
His grandfather Pop Wyatt won the first race ever at Langley in 1949 and his dad Wayne, used to own and operate the track.
With CE Falk pretty much out of the running for a fourth straight title following a couple of disqualifications, Wyatt feels his team has what it takes to win a late model championship.
