8-game CUSA schedule for ODU in 2014
Will be bowl eligible in 2015

Old Dominion Athletic Director Wood Selig confirmed to the Sportswrap that Conference USA athletic directors have unanimously voted to allow ODU to play 8 conference USA games beginning in 2014, one year earlier than expected.
ODU won't be eligible for a conference championship or a bowl game until 2015, but playing a full CUSA schedule in 2014 makes scheduling a lot easier. 2013 will be a transitional season for ODU while they make the move to FBS.
