FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) - Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is coming to northern Virginia to sign legislation favored by the region's influential tech community.
McDonnell will also cut the ribbon Tuesday on a new corporate headquarters for the tech firm Acentia, which employs 1,200 people and agreed to move its headquarters to Virginia this year.
The legislation to be signed includes an extension of a tax credit to support telework and an expansion of a legislation exempting data centers from sales tax.
Acentia agreed in January to move its headquarters to the Fairview Park section of Fairfax County.
