CW offers discount to Va residents

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - Colonial Williamsburg will offer a 20 percent discount on annual passes to Virginia residents through March 31.

The historical area savings are only available to residents of Virginia and may be purchased online , or by calling 1-800-HISTORY, or at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. All purchases must be redeemed at the Visitor Center with a valid Virginia ID.

While the ticket must be purchased before March 31, it is valid one full year from date of purchase. Colonial Williamsburg is open every day of the year.

Officials say the offer may not be combined with another offer and is not available to groups.

Established in 1926, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the not-for-profit educational institution and cultural destination dedicated to the preservation, restoration, interpretation and presentation of the 18th-century Revolutionary capital of Virginia as the nation's largest living history museum.
