1 dead, 1 hurt after 2 planes crash

WARRENTON, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say one pilot is dead and another injured after a crash involving two airplanes in Fauquier County.
Police say the plane flown by the pilot who died was destroyed by fire. The pilot of the second plane was transported to Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. Monday in the area of Silver Hill Road. Police said the crash scene is secluded and difficult to access.
No further details were immediately available, and the cause if the crash is being investigated.
