KILLEEN, Texas (KXAN) - A Fort Hood soldier was arrested Sunday and charged with aggravated sexual assault.
Killeen police responded to report of an assault at 10:30 a.m. in an apartment complex laundry room. They were given a description of the suspect and his vehicle, which was found unoccupied in the 4200 block of Old 440.
Using a canine dog, police found the suspect, identified as Bradric G.D. Fransaw, 22, hiding behind a privacy fence in the 1300 block of Calvary Street. Police said Fransaw initially tried to run from officers and the dog.
Bell County District Attorney's office charged Fransaw with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of aggravated assault. He is being held in Killeen City Jail.
Police are investigating possible links to five other assaults in Killeen and to a sexual assault that occurred in Copperas Cove.
