Rare red panda cubs make public debut

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (CNN/CBC) - A zoo in Winnipeg might just have the cutest creatures in all of Canada.

Two baby red pandas got their moment in the spotlight Thursday at the Assiniboine Park Zoo.

The pandas were born in June, but have been shielded from the media and zoo visitors until now.

These two little gals won't be sticking around too long. Officials say one will go to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio and the other to the Prospect Park Zoo in New York.
