DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - A brave North Carolina boy stopped a group of other boys torturing a stray cat by taking the animal home, savings its life.
According to Outer Banks SPCA, Wendell found three boys torturing a cat Tuesday night by tossing it in the air, running it over with their bikes and squirting an energy drink in his face. Wendell approached the group and took the cat home.
Wendell's mother called the SPCA. The cat, Jackson, is recuperating at Roanoke Island Animal Clinic and is expected to make a full recovery.
