Manteo woman charged in jewelry theft

DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - A Manteo woman is accused of stealing a large amount of jewelry from a Roanoke Island home.
The Dare County Sheriff's Office began its investigation into the case on Sept. 4.
Investigator Kelly Lawson was able to recover some of the stolen property. Her investigation also led to the arrest of Joni Love Arakaki on a charge of felony larceny.
