RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A man working on an underground well at a Raleigh convenience store has died after he was struck and killed by a vehicle.

Officials say 50-year-old Randy Wilson was working on a manhole at the store when he was struck and killed Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the driver left the scene. Fifty-two-year-old Deborah J. Dunkley was arrested later and charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and unsafe movement.

It was not clear if Dunkley has an attorney.
