NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The man struck by a vehicle in Ghent Saturday night has died.
Norfolk Police Department spokesman Chris Amos said the vehicle hit the man around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Colonial and Boissevain avenues.
The department's fatal crash continues to investigate the accident. Once the team concludes its findings, the information will be turned over to the Commonwealth's Attorney Office for determination of any possible charges. Amos said the vehicle's driver did stop at the accident.
Police will release the victim's name once they notify his family.
