VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Animal Control is searching for a woman whose dog bit two teenagers.

The dog was reportedly running loose in a ball field at First Colonial High School on the morning of Saturday, March 10. The dog went up to two teens and attacked them, according to police spokeswoman Tonya Borman. The victims were bitten on their hands and legs. Police did not release any information on the victims' conditions.

The dog is described as large, shaggy, grey and white and may possibly be a sheepdog, Borman said.

The owner grabbed the dog and left in a black 4-door Land Rover. Police released two pictures of the woman's vehicle.

Animal Control is asking anyone that can help them find the owner of the dog to call Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 1-888-Lock-U-Up. You can also contact Animal Control directly at 757-385-4444.

The case remains under investigation by the Department's Animal Control Bureau.
