Obama to campaign in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - President Barack Obama will hold a campaign event in Virginia Beach next Thursday, campaign officials confirmed to WAVY.com.

More details regarding the location and tickets are expected in the coming days.

The September 27 event will be the president's second visit to Hampton Roads this month.

Obama spoke at Norfolk State University on Sept. 4.
