RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will campaign for GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney in Virginia this week ahead of President Barack Obama's visit to the state.

Giuliani will headline a rally for veterans in Virginia Beach at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The next day Giuliani will headline the grand opening of a Henrico County GOP headquarters with Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling.

Meanwhile, Romney will appear on "The John Fredericks Radio Show" on WHKT-AM 1650 in Hampton Roads on Tuesday. It will be the former Massachusetts governor's first talk radio interview in Virginia.

Obama is set to visit the state on Friday and Saturday. Obama kicked off his re-election campaign in Richmond in May.
