VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A crash involving a delivery truck closed a portion of Centerville Turnpike Friday morning.
Jimmy Barnes with the Virginia Beach Police Department told WAVY.com the crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. between the truck and a pickup truck in the 1600 block of Centerville Turnpike. The pickup turned on its side.
According to Barnes, the driver of the pickup was possible pinned, but stated that could just mean he was unable to open the door, not that any serious injuries were involved.
Centerville Turnpike was closed in both directions and motorists were being turned around at Jake Sears Road.
