VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are searching for a vehicle they believe was involved in the hit-and-run of a bicyclist.
Police say on May 20 around 10:35 a.m., police arrived to the 4000 block of First Court Road where a bicyclist was hit by a car near the intersection of Greenwell Road.
An investigation reveals the bicyclist was traveling north on First Court Road and the suspect was driving in the same direction when the vehicle's mirror may have struck the bicyclist, causing the cyclist to fall off the bike.
Police say the bicyclist was wearing a helmet and bright yellow jacket and received minor injuries.
The vehicle is described as a red, smaller vehicle with two doors, possibly four doors.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers Office at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
