Automotive group to purchase dealership

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Charles Barker Automotive has entered into an agreement to purchase Phillips Mercedes-Benz and Phillips Land Rover dealerships.
According to a release, Barker expects to gain full ownership by the end of the year pending manufacturer approval. The agreement was made by Barker and Nathan Drory with Tench and David Phillips.
Phillips Automotive, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Tench Phillips as Phillips Oldsmobile, Inc. Barker began his automotive career with Colonial Chevrolet.
