VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A 4-year-old child was hospitalized following a house fire in Virginia Beach Tuesday evening.
The fire broke out at approximately 5 p.m. in the Thalia Village neighborhood of the city on North Budding Avenue.
The child was hospitalized for smoke inhalation and was released from the hospital within hours of the incident.
The family of five was displaced due to the fire, which was ruled accidental.
