TME files claim for pothole work

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - WAVY.com has learned TME Enterprises is now asking to be paid for the emergency pothole work it's done since the pothole fiasco of Feb. 8.
10 On Your Side's Andy Fox reports the company is asking the Virginia Department of Transportation for $250,000 a week in reimbursement for expenses incurred in fixing potholes over the past month.
Last week, VDOT released a preliminary report stating TME Enterprises did not repair potholes in a timely manner. The nine page Pothole Preliminary Summary is mostly critical of TME Enterprises.

The large potholes along Interstate 264 eastbound left dozens of drivers with flat tires and other damage.
