SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A vehicle overturned along Holland Road in Suffolk Tuesday and a victim had to be extricated.

Debbie George with the City of Suffolk told WAVY.com the crash occurred in the 6300 block of Holland Road at 1:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes.

Barbara Morris, 64, was involved in the single-vehicle crash and had to be extricated from the vehicle.

George said Morris was driving eastbound in the left lane of Holland Road when she drove off the road onto the shoulder, flipping the vehicle on its roof.

Nightingale was originally dispatched to the scene, but was called off. One lane was closed in each direction for some time.
