SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus Thursday afternoon.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Sleepy Hole Road and in the intersection of Nansemond Parkway. This is near Nansemond River High School.

The crash involved a Nansemond Suffolk Academy bus and a 2003 Toyota four-door sedan.

There were students on the bus at the time of the crash, but none of them were injured. The driver and passenger in the Toyota were both transported to Sentara Obici Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Klink said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
