Turkey Brigade rolls through Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The Turkey Brigade rolled across Hampton Roads Thursday.

Employees from Rose and Womble Realty volunteered their time to raise money to buy and prepare 850 food baskets for local families.

The company started raising money for its annual Turkey Brigade in August.

Thursday, food from Deltaville Market was delivered, unloaded and sorted.

"It's our 20th anniversary. We started with just three baskets and it's grown every year," said Rose and Womble Realty employee Julia Diehl.
