SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A neighborhood corner store was more than friendly to one of its patrons.

Friendly Check Cashing, located in the 200 block of East Washington Street, sold Jenny Thomas a winning lottery ticket.

"This is my winning ticket right here!" Thomas joked when she bought the ticket. After scratching it, she quickly saw that it really was a winning ticket and that it was worth $100,000.

"I was hysterical!" Thomas told Lottery officials as she claimed her prize.

This is the third top prize claimed in the 10x the Money game which boasts prizes ranging from $5 all the way up to $100,000. Two top-prize tickets remain unclaimed.
