Suffolk PD phone lines now operational

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - No emergency calls to 911 were affected by phone issues earlier today, according to a Suffolk Police spokesperson.
Earlier today, the Suffolk Police Department experienced issues with calls, and an alternate number was given for citizens to call.
During the affected time period, 911 remained operational for emergency calls.
