SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Some big business news is percolating through Suffolk.
Coffee warehouse company Continental Terminals is expanding its operations in the Hampton Roads city.
The corporation has purchased a new $2.7 facility at 1394 Progress Road in Suffolk.
According to a news release, the 70,000 square-foot building will be used for administration, sample roasting, sorting, storage and distribution as well as for custom blending.
The new site is across the street from the original warehouse. The family owned business was established in 1958 and has been in Suffolk for five years.
The company is the largest handler of specialty coffee in the United States.
