SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Cars veered into sidewalks on a busy Suffolk street Friday evening as motorists attempted to get to their desired locations.
Andy Fox reported live from Suffolk on Main Street close to Constance Road and spoke with a woman driving a minivan who had gotten into a minor crash earlier Friday afternoon.
10 On Your Side contacted Debbie George with the City of Suffolk about sanding Main Street due to extremely slippery conditions. Within minutes, a sanding truck made its way to the area.
By 6 p.m. Main Street was cleared and traffic was flowing. However, George said a lot of wrecks were reported on Holland Road.
