VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - One person brandished a machete and another a pipe during a fight at a soccer match Sunday afternoon, according to police.

Virginia Beach police spokeswoman Grazia Moyers said officers responded to a fight at the RAVE Soccer Complex, 2924 Shipps Corner Rd., about 1:50 p.m. Players on the field began fighting when one retrieved a machete and another grabbed a pipe, Moyers said.

She said there may have been some minor injuries but had no details.

Detectives conducted an investigation but filed no charges due to the lack of cooperation from all involved in the altercation.
