PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A party advertised on Facebook ended in gunfire early Saturday morning, according to police.
Det. Chris Durham with the Portsmouth Police Department told WAVY.com police were dispatched to the Gust Lane area just before 5 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers learned three people suffered gunshots after multiple altercations. Durham said the shooting occurred at a party that was advertised on Facebook.
One victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment. The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.
