PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say the truck ramp from Hampton Boulevard to Brambleton Avenue west remained closed Tuesday due to soil movement in the embankment.

According to a news release from Elizabeth River Tunnels, the ramp closed Monday and will remain closed until the cause of the slope movement is found and fixed.

A detour is in place rerouting drivers to use Redgate Avenue and Claremont Avenue.
