PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A landlord tells 10 On Your Side he evicted a downtown Portsmouth club and its owner July 24 and that the club continued selling tickets to an upcoming event.

Charles Greenhood says he evicted Mansion Allure nightclub owner Terry Webb from the club at 463 Court St. because Webb was behind on rent for months.

"I've tried my patience and I've tried to see some way that they can take care of their obligations," Greenhood said. "They can't take care of their financial obligations."

The Mansion took to social media as late as July 26 to promote a concert after-party at the club on July 28. The club's website says the after-party would feature Rick Ross and Pusha T following Rick Ross' performance at Norfolk's Scope Arena earlier that evening at Jamz Fest 2012.

According to a third-party vendor's website , VIP tickets for the event ran as high as $500. WAVY's Jason Marks spoke with one woman who bought her ticket for the event Thursday morning.

"It was shocking to me that they are still selling tickets," Greenhood said. "They're still selling tables for the night club."

Glen Munson and friends paid $400 to reserve a table at the nightclub Saturday while Greenhood maintains the event will not be held at the Mansion.

"We spent all this money to go there," Munson said. "We tried to book it as far as possible in advanced."

"I'm very concerned that people are going to show up and there's no event and they are going be very upset," Greenhood said.

Munson says he has been trying to contact anyone from the Mansion to see if he will get a refund.

"The people for the management team for the Mansion are probably long gone by now, so I pretty much gave up on it," Munson said.

Webb released the following statement to WAVY.com:

"The money is in a separate account, but I'm not listed on that account anymore. Charles Greenwood is more than a landlord, he's a partner. He can pay the people back. Check their website for the refund policy statement. Money should be in the account."

Mansion Allure has a message on its website that says for refunds and questions on VIP reservations, Greenhood can be reached at 757-735-4360.
