PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Thursday, a Portsmouth inmate was charged with multiple sex crimes against a minor in Roanoke.
Lemar Whorley is charged with two counts of having sex with a child under the age of 13, one count of forcible sodomy, five counts of aggravated sexual battery and four counts of producing or attempting to produce child pornography.
WSLS in Roanoke said the crimes took place between June 1 and Aug. 31, 2008.
Whorley is being held at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail.
